What is ChroPath Studio?

ChroPath Studio is used to automates the manual test case writing process.

Using this one can generate the manual test case as well as automation script in few seconds.

When you do the functionality testing of your web application in the browser, it will record the manual actions as well as the automation command with XPath.

ChroPath Studio has many features which can save a lot more time.

It is developed on the ChroPath platform.

It accelerates the testing process both manual and automation.

You need not download a separate app, it is there in AutonomIQ ChroPath itself from the 6.0 version onward.

Why ChroPath Studio?

To solve these problems.

           1)    I am a developer, can’t write the manual test cases.

           2)    I am an automation tester, can’t write the manual test cases.

           3)    We all hate to write the manual test steps but have to write them, right?

           4)    Many times, we waste a lot of time and effort to reproduce the issue 

                 because we forgot the steps and much more, isn’t it?

           5)    For overcoming these issues, we create Chropath Extension.

Steps to Perform Installation Process

1)    Go to https://autonomiq.io/chropath/chropath-studio/

2)    Available for different browsers

3)    Download according to your requirements like Chrome.

             4)    Add extension into chrome by clicking on Add Extension.

              5)    After adding this will shown as the above image.

How to use ChroPath Studio?

     

        1)    Click on the ChroPath Studio Logo (just below the selector box) in the 

            ChroPath tab.

            You can also open the CP studio from the browser toolbar. Click on the 

            ChroPath logo in the toolbar then there click on the video icon present in 
            the top right corner.

      2) It will open a separate window which is the ChroPath Studio.

       3)    Now you can continue performing your manual testing and CP studio will 

            keep recording your steps in plain English.

        4) It will also generate XPath with an automation command by default.

             5)    If you want to send the Test Cases to the testers, you can simply copy the 

                  steps by clicking on steps copy option

                Paste it into notepad or anywhere.

                This way you can copy the Data and Commands also.

            6)    You can update the command as per your framework.

            7)    There is add and delete button in each row if you missed any step then 
                  you can add it or delete it.

               8)    Once you are done, you can save the test case. You can rename the 
                     test case before saving it.

          

             9)    There is also a copy all row button if you don’t want to save the file then 

                   just copy and paste in your system.

            10)    There is a stop/record button in the CP studio. If at any point you want to   

                    pause the  recording then click on it.
